Evansville IN - Hammerheads

According to Joe:

A good show. We loaded in and did a soundcheck. A cool soundguy named Chris got our monitors just right. Usually we don't even get monitors. After soundcheck we ate some dinner and drank some beers - some people at the upstairs bar bought us all a couple rounds of PBRs. It was in the paper, an article written by Joey Goebel who interviewed us over the phone before we left for the tour, that we liked PBR and they were only 50 cents each tonight, a great deal, the best we've seen this tour. Food was good.

Chris and I played on a team for pool against every combination of Dandrew, Steve and Brian. We won every game, 5 games straight. Amazingly, Chris won the final game pretty much by himself. He got every ball in on his first turn, except the 8-ball. I missed my shot but he got it on his next turn.

A rap-type guy played first. His backing was on cd. He was pretty good, funny. Then we played. There was a tub of PBR on the side of the stage for us. Fun set. Another cool band played after us and then the place turned into this disco dance hall with these hot chicks dancing together. Then it just kept getting more and more crowded. There was like a DJ spinning records or cds and crazy lights. Steve was dancing for a while. I danced too, but not for long. Eventually we packed our gear - around 3 AM and drove on back to the airport area while Chris played a kids music tape full blast on the stereo.
