Carbondale IL - Hanger 9

According to Joe:

Got to the Hanger 9 early and played some free pool. Losers had to buy the winners beers. Some pool league people came and after three games we gave up the free table. I had to fix my keyboard anyway. Yesterday at the Creepy Crawl one of the keys got stuck (the C sharp) and would not stop playing. Another key (the B flat) would not play at all. I got it fixed and then we went to a Wal-Mart to get Dandrew a walking stick. He is feeling pain putting pressure on his knee.

Show was okay. First band, The Hateful Dead, sounded a lot like the Melvins. They were amazingly like the Melvins, actually, but they played all original material. Their drummer played in a thong (and nothing else).

We played second and did okay. No one got hurt.

The band after us were called The Hangarounds. They sounded a lot like the Ramones, but they played originals, except for the encore which was Teenage Lobotomy, a Ramones cover.

We got a couple offers for places to stay. I decided to take the first one we got so I could get some sleep. The others decided to hang around and play pool and crash at another house. Steve went to a third location.
